I read this in one sitting- it's a lovely tale of a woman in an East Coast town with a special gift in shorthand and the prettiest rose garden in the area. At first glance there is nothing special about knowing shorthand- or this woman (Rosemary), but unusual circumstances bring different townspeople to Rosemary's door. They need her help to solve their problems and while Rosemary might pretend to not need anyone, the townspeople bring something special to Rosemary's life too. A fun read-on-the-porch-in-the-afternoon book. Made me want to go to Connecticut and spend a summer there!Product details
